Love and Forgiveness
You may ask yourself how love and forgiveness have anything to do with weight loss. Well, if you consider weight loss as pertaining only to the physical body, I can see the thought process behind that. However, remember weight loss, or more appropriately weight release, is more about YOU the WHOLE being, not just the body.
When we hang on to any negative energy, it builds up in every tissue of our body, it takes hold in our energy centers and creates dis-ease, which can lead to disease. When we forgive others or ourselves, we do it for us, not for the other person. When we are brave enough to forgive, we are sending a very loud signal to ourselves that we place love above hatred, resentment, and anger. By doing this we are sending powerful messages of love to the Universe and ourselves.
Let’s clarify some things – we are not condoning the actions of another person, we are simply forgiving the person. You don’t have to call up the person to tell them you forgive them, this is all done privately within your own heart, mind, and soul. Forgiveness is a form of release. You are releasing the toxic emotions associated with your relationship, memory, or feeling for that person. Sending it on it’s way, clearing the way to fill your heart with love and respect for yourself. You are healing! When you heal and release toxic energies, you are lightening up. When you lighten up, your body functions better. When you lighten up, many of your food obsessions begin to disappear.
After we work on forgiving others, it’s time to seek to forgive ourselves. This may actually feel more difficult than forgiving others, but when you finally take the time and effort to work through the process, you will create such a powerful energy shift within you that you will create ripples of healing and positive energy in your world. Remember – your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Forgiveness = Love. Love is the opposite of fear. Fear is ego based, love is spirit based. Coming from Spirit is the most powerful perspective to tackle any challenge or obstacle, including your weight loss goals.
