What limiting beliefs are you holding on to?

I am just sibookstting here, thinking about the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, our weight, our value in this world, etc.  We all have stories and limiting beliefs. Many of us have money stories, body image stories, weight stories, success stories, relationship stories, and more.  The key to eliminating the stories that don’t serve us is to recognize them.

 

A couple years ago, one of my limiting beliefs (or stories) was that a woman my age would have a very hard time releasing weight.

Many times, we don’t even realize we have stories.  We think that we are in charge of our life, being totally conscious and aware.  Well if you have any blocks or areas that you struggle with, then most likely you have stories that are subconsciously running your life.  These stories are LIES, that you have been buying into.  What’s your story about weight?

One of my stories was that the only way for me to lose weight was for me to starve myself.  Sure in the past, I participated in those extreme low calorie diets and lost the weight.  But after those types of diets, I ALWAYS gained the weight back within record time once I started eating again. read more
