I think my favorite thing about Halloween is that I can be anything I want.  All I have to do is simply create a vision of what/who I want to be,  write out my list of what I need to be this character, purchase the appropriate clothing, or don the mask, apply liberal amounts of make-up if required, and act the part!

I could be a super hero, a nurse, a nun, a celebrity, a famous person in history.  Or I could be a bee, or a cat, or banana, or even Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Clearing the clutter does have an impact on your weight release efforts.

Remember the adage, your inner world is a reflection of your outer world?  Well the same applies for the other way around.  You outer world is a reflection of what’s going on inside of you as well.  When you begin to clear the clutter in your environment it has an impact on your energy, and your mind.  Take a look at this photo for example.  I bet if we were to ask the person who’s desk this belongs to, “how do you know where anything is?” they would most likely say that they know exactly where things are.  (Everything is in that stack of papers!)  Okay even though that’s a great answer, one that I have used numerous times myself when I would sit in my paper infested office (note past tense), but how long do you think it would take that person to find what he/she is looking for? read more

What is Intuitive Eating?

First off I can tell you what it’s not and then we’ll go from there.  It’s not overeating, it’s not dieting. It’s not binging or deprivation or even the next biggest weight loss craze.  Intuitive Eating means listening to your body’s signals.  Allow the inner wisdom to come out.  Eat only when you are hungry and eat only until you are satisfied.  When you adopt intuitive eating you will no longer take

part in the yo-yo diet syndrome.  You won’t need to!  If you are wanting long lasting weight release, transitioning towards intuitive eating is really the only way to go since diets fail time and time again.

Take those naturally thin people who live life by eating to live rather than living to eat. They are intuitive eaters. They are not obsessing about what they are eating, or what they should be eating or what they are going to eat for dinner.  They just enjoy, they don’t overeat and they live life fully! Their attention is on life, more than it is on food. Even if you love food and are a foodie, it can still be a passion for you, but in a totally different context. You don’t have to lose that part of yourself, we are merely removing the obsessive behavior and clearing the programs that are at the heart of your weight problem.
