Step 7 (Re-Create) to Achieve Independence From Food Obsessions


Weight releaseThis is the final step on the road to gaining  freedom from your food obsessions.  The previous steps were: Tuning in, Discovery, Clearing, Releasing, Loving, and Attracting.


Step 7 is Re-create.

Now it’s time to do it!  This is the step where you put it all together and go forth with your plan to integrate the steps to wholeness and alignment. Keeping your inspirational vision front and center with a transformed mindset, living as a healthy person, knowing you are well on your way to your goals!


What you are experiencing during this transformation, is not only a transformation of your body, but of your mind, and spirit as well. You are rewiring your neural networks thus creating a new normal.


When you embark on doing the inner work, you are embracing Spiritual growth. Spiritual growth is an inevitable result of working on yourself and your food obsessions.

To re-create means living life as your authentic self, that child of the Universe with all your glory, abundance, and vitality.  Take the bull by the horns and go for it, one step at a time. Don’t get discouraged by some set-backs. Set-backs will happen on occasion; it’s the way you respond to the set-backs that’s important.  You can either give up or throw in the towel and start again another day, or you can regroup, shake it off, and ask yourself some questions that will help you discover what’s going on, and what your next steps need to be.

It’s now time to make a declaration to end the cycle of suffering with your weight and your food addictions.  Even though you and I haven’t met, I understand your struggles. I have been there. I know what it was like to sneak into the fridge in the middle of the night, trying desperately not to wake anyone, while scarfing down a leftover cupcake in two seconds flat!  I understand uncontrollable cravings and the inability to stop eating even though my stomach was aching because it was so full!  I know what it was like to cry myself to sleep because I wasn’t able to control myself around food.


The fact that I have been able to release 35+ pounds at the age of 49 without dieting or deprivation, and that I was able to eliminate my food obsessions and negative eating habits without struggle, is a testament that you can do it too!  You are a powerful being of the Universe. The time is now. You are amazing and beautiful and you can do anything you put your mind to do. I know you will do it this time!  Let’s get in shape – body, mind, and soul!

  1. Ha ha Maryann, I can’t imagine you sneaking down in the middle of the night and scarfing down cake! I’ve never quite resorted to that, but I have tried to hide how much I was eating from others in the past. I guess that’s a similar thing! Certainly guilt around food anyway. Thank you for this mini-series on our issues around food. It’s been so interesting and very thought-provoking. Hmm, now time for me to put these ideas into action. Gulp! Am I ready?!
