Weight Loss and Forgiveness

Weight Loss and Forgiveness

You may ask yourself how weight loss and forgiveness have anything to do with each other.  Well, if you consider weight loss as pertaining only to the physical body, I can see the thought process behind that.  However, remember weight loss, or more appropriately weight release, isweight loss and forgivenss more about YOU the WHOLE being, not just the body.

When we hang on to any negative energy, it builds up in every tissue of our body, it takes hold in our energy centers and creates dis-ease, which can lead to disease.  When we forgive others or ourselves, we do it for us, not for the other person.  When we are brave enough to forgive, we are sending a very loud signal to ourselves that we place love above hatred, resentment, and anger. By doing this we are sending powerful messages of love to the Universe and ourselves.

Let’s clarify some things – we are not condoning the actions of another person, we are simply forgiving the person. You don’t have to call up the person to tell them you forgive them, this is all done privately within your own heart, mind, and soul.  Forgiveness is a form of release.  You are releasing the toxic emotions associated with your relationship, memory, or feeling for that person. Sending it on its way, clearing the way to fill your heart with love and respect for yourself.  You are healing!  When you heal and release toxic energies, you are lightening up.  When you lighten up, your body functions better. When you lighten up, many of your food obsessions begin to disappear. read more

Lessons Learned from a Chubby Italian Girl

Lessons Learned from a Chubby Italian Girl

I have struggled with my weight since I was 8 years old.  I remember when I started packing on the pounds, I was 4 or 5 years old.  At lessons learned being chubbythat time I experienced watching my Grandfather have a heart attack and be wheeled out of the house by the paramedics.  It was a traumatic event in my life that was only soothed by food. That memory would be etched in my mind and my cells for a lifetime.

From that moment on I learned to use food as comfort and to use food to cover up pain or any other uncomfortable emotions.  I was a very sensitive child, I still am highly sensitive, however when I was young I repeatedly heard the common phrase, “Oh you’re just too sensitive.”  My family didn’t really know how to deal with a highly sensitive child, so the best they could offer was a hug and some homemade meatballs, because that always cheered me up.

My family was, is, the best!  Memories of celebrations, laughter, good times, and always pasta, fill pockets of my mind and my heart.  I would not be the woman I am had it not been for my Italian upbringing.  Food was celebration, food was condolement, food was consolation, food was a reward, food was our passion, and food eventually became my pain.

It’s tough to have a love/hate relationship with food, when it symbolizes so many wonderful things in your life, how can I, in good faith hate it?  I am passionate about good food, and healthy food.  I have also been addicted to food.  Unlike cigarettes you cannot just quit eating, although I have seen those Breatharians do without food quite well.  For me being a Breatharian would be worse than Hell itself! read more

Forgiveness is the Key

Forgiveness is the Key

What is forgiveness the key of?

Forgiveness is the key to the door of your soul which  opens the floodgates of Universal Abundance!

When we forgive others and ourselves we are freeing our mind, heart,  soul, and chakras or energy centers.  When we do this we are telling the Universe that we are moving towards the path of enlightenment, we are coming from a place of LOVE instead of fear and we are lightening our load, we are releasing the prisoner within us!

Forgiveness

When we forgive, our whole being opens up to abundance. It opens up to the manifesting of our desires. Resentment, anger, guilt, shame, jealousy, they all act like gunk in machinery.  Energy doesn’t flow to us effortlessly, we feel like life is always a struggle, it’s a challenge to manifest our desires, and magical living is far from reality.  When we clear the gunk, release it – we break free from the chains, we open up to the higher power and energy of love. Our world begins to change!

That leads to the question – HOW do we forgive? read more
