Angel Card Reading Day 5 – Goddess

Angel Card Reading – The Goddess

I have decided to Post 10 days of Angel Card Readings using Doreen Virtue’s Angel Therapy Oracle Cards.  Today is Day 5.  As I sit quietly in a calm and relaxed state, I ask the Universe to show me a card with a message that is important for whomever stumbles upon this post.   While keeping the cards down I select a card from the fanned out stack.  Today’s Angel Card Reading is the Goddess.

On the card it says:  “Express your Divine feminine energy, embracing its magical intuition and nurturing qualities.”

The in depth meaning per the booklet enclosed with the Oracle Cards:   This card speaks of a need for sacred female energy, which brings gifts such as intuition, nurturing, and artistic expression.  Perhaps you’ve been spending too much time thinking or engaging in creatively void work.  If so, then this card is your signal to move your body in dance; and express your intuitive, artistic, and nurturing side.

You’re also guided to call on benevolent female deities for help with the situation you’re inquiring about.  You can call upon Lakshmi, the beloved Hindu Goddess who helps with abundance; Brigit, the Celtic Goddess of healing and courage; Mother Mary, the saint who guides  our children; Athena, the Grecian Goddess  of wisdom; the Egyptian Goddess Isis, who helps women juggle home and family; or any of the thousands of other trustworthy  and sacred female deities.

Action Steps:  Within every woman are three parts of the goddess:  Maiden (inner child, at times pure and at other times adventurous or bold); Mother (nurturing qualities); and Matriarch (the teacher).  Men have analogous inner qualities of the Lad, the Dad, and the Patriarch.  It’s important to express each of these three parts daily.  This helps to balance playfulness with work and relationships.  Spend time each day expressing all three characteristics, and notice how much more energized and balanced you feel.

My Notes:  This is the perfect card for me today.  Have you ever been so caught up in your own stuff that you pretty much wallow in your worries?  When I pulled this card, I really had to chuckle.  It was a message clearly from the Divine, for me to lighten up, express my creative side, which I love to create jewelry –  I even have a jewelry website which I haven’t put much time or energy into lately:  Maryann Wilkin Designs , and tonight is Zumba class, which even though I am feeling a bit under the weather, I will make myself go to dance and have fun!

For me, what makes me feel feminine is pretty jewelry.  I have so many beads, that this is my wake up call to get out of my head, and get creative again, in ways that bring out the feminine.  The nurturing part of me is actively engaged, from loving my son, to working with my Synergy Weight Release clients.  The intuitive part of me is simply loving doing these angel card readings for you.  I also do private Angel Card readings,  simply contact me if you would like a reading.  I would be happy to offer this service on a donation basis.

This simple card, has brought my attention to what I need to do more of in my life right now.  I thank the Universe for guiding me to select this card and for hearing the messages I needed to hear…I will get out and dance tonight and I will sit down at my craft table and create! The Goddess is awakened!  What messages did you hear from this card?  I would love to hear from you! :)

  1. Hi Maryann,

Very cool article on angel cards. Looking forward to your future posts! Thanks for sharing. Have a great week ahead. :-)

  2. Hello! I love this card. I love everything Goddessy and was thinking that I wanted to write more on this theme. Perhaps that will be my post for tomorrow. I was feeling a little down today and went out to get away from the laptop. It was a sunny if rather cold day, but we had the roof off on the car so I could watch the blue sky and trees rushing by while wrapped up with a jumper and fleecy coat…such fun; I love the feel of the wind through my hair. I came back refreshed and more myself again. As I don’t have access to a Zumba class (lucky you) I shall make do with dancing on my own around the kitchen…which I often do! I shall take your advice and call on Lakshmi as that’s the area of my life I keep asking for help for. Love the way you provide the information for each card. Intuitive and just spot on each time. Have fun at Zumba!
